Halfway To My Goal

Typhoon Lionheart has destroyed homes, displaced over 100,000 people, and ruined fall crops that will lead to a potential famine.

My group has been asked by people inside North Korea to come and help them rebuild and survive.  My team is halfway to our goal of support, aided by a couple of great donors who are matching your gifts dollar for dollar. We need to raise $14,000 more to buy the rest of the emergency food and shelters for the people we'll be assisting.  All your gifts are tax deductible and are greatly appreciated.

The North Korean people are a resilient people, much like Americans, and aren't easily defeated even though the odds are tough and life there is difficult to even survive under their oppressive government.  For the first time in their history, the government of North Korea is asking for help from wherever they can get it.

This is an unprecedented opportunity for small relief agencies  who are better equipped to get aid directly to the common people and help with immediate needs.

The other day I purchased 10,000 water purification tablets and had them shipped to our friends in China who are crossing the border into northern North Korea tomorrow morning. The percentage of sick children has gone up 5 times since the flood from a lack of clean and safe drinking water. I don't know about you, but I often take clean drinking water for granted.

I need your help in doing more.  There are mouths to feed, backs to clothe, shelters to build and lives to help survive in this most desperate of times.

Consider donating towards this humanitarian opportunity.  Your donation is tax deductible and 100% goes towards helping the people of North Korea rebuild their lives.
